Without further a due, I proudly to introduce to you all, The Reaver Heartless, formerly known as Hyde's minions.

I had been dwelling on the Reaver design for quite some time now, and I was actually excited to start this. I basically had one idea in mind; to create the single most intimidating Heartless ever created.
I would like to think that I got close to my goal.

With the Reaver design I mainly got inspiration from three primary sources: Alien Vs Predator, Metroid, and Soulcalibur.
The AVP inspiration is quite obvious with the way in which I designed its head, even if it lacks the iconic 'mouth head', it makes up for it with four others over its body (not including the one on its head)
The original design of the Reaver had six legs, but at the very last second of the drafting production I though to only give it three, two at the front and a much larger one at the back. The structure of the legs was inspired by the (second) last final boss in Metroid Prime, as a loose reference to the Metroid Prime series and how I base the effects of Corruption, off Metroid interpretation.
And the Arms of the Reaver were directly inspired by the Character Night-Terror, from Soulcalibur III.

A while back I thought about which sin best fits each of my characters, back when I only had seven main characters. And I mainly associated Hyde with Gluttony, hence translating into the mainly mouths that cover the Reavers body.

I would have to say another reason that I like the Reavers design, is that I primarily used dark colours, as I find darker colours easier to work with.

_{The Reaver, a Heartless best described as a rabid dog. Ceaselessly aggressive, that spreads a deadly infection to those who are unlucky enough to come in contact with its toxic venom.
Many would deduce that considering its nature that the creature wouldn't be too bright, although many have found tis to be quite the opposite with the Reaver.
As the Reaver is not one, but two Heartless, two Heartless that share the same body, as seen by its two sets of eyes. But for this creatures supposed intelligence, its is only driven by one desire; to destroy everything it touches. Some would say that the two minds conflict with one another, which is said to explain its insatiable bloodlust.
The Reaver is certainly a Heartless created by a deranged mind, as they were built to oppose the Dark Knight Nobodies.
And so the Reavers master saw fit to give them Dragons to fight.}
